Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area has a Gift Shop located inside the Visitor Center. It's a great option if you are looking for something unique and nature oriented. We carry the stuffed animals that you just don't find anywhere else, "so we are told by a customer purchasing a turkey vulture"!

We carry a variety of locally made goods; such as soaps, candles, pottery, and socks. We also carry a wide selection of resource books that can help you learn about plants, animals, mammals, insects, arthropods, and fungi that are found in northwest Arkansas area.

Hours of Operation: 8 am - 5 pm, 7 days per week (except Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays)

Gift Cards are available and can be used at all of the Arkansas State Parks.

We are unable to process online orders at this time. We can check our inventory and set something aside for your next visit. Payment via credit card over the phone is an option to hold items for more than a day or two. Please support your state parks by shopping locally with us! Know that profits made are put back into our own Parks & Recreation Dept.

The book displayed here, Explore Winter, by Maxine Anderson, is a great book if you are looking for something to do during our winter months. She offers 25 great ways to learn about winter; including projects, activities, and experiments!

Did you know that:

1) Some amphibians freeze solid in the winter, then thaw out and come back to life in spring!

2) You can often tell what food a bird likes to eat by the shape of its beak!

3) Every snowflake starts as a six-sided ice crystal!

Winter is a time for great explorations, both inside and outside!
